I am trying to repair Redmi Note 12 pro 4G (sweet_k6a) IMEI. to do so I have to unlock bootloader first, but the device does not have a working IMEI numbers to be able to add Xiaomi account and connect the device with it. The only left over option is to boot into EDL mode, install old firmware to use temporary bootloader unlock exploit, and then fully unlock the bootloader.
Whenever I try to switch to EDL mode in DFT, the phone just boots normally...
Using Xiaomi Official fastboot to EDL tool, I am getting the error "Xiaomi account not authorized for this action."
Is there any way I can enter EDL mode? maybe using an authorized account, or some trick without opening the device?
