Init EXT RAM failed. bootloader file does not match (369)

I can't do a firmware flash. what does this error mean? the firmware is for the exact same model

For any kind of operation in brom mode with dft tool: read information, backup nvram...etc, a preloader image file is required by the tool. using the original preloader image file will again show the same problem in the previous attached image.

suggesting a fix of the problem by using another application doesn't make a lot of sense anyway. The DFT tool should be able to do it, not the SP flash tool . If for some reason it is not working with DFT tool then that is a bug or error to report for a fix

Either way I tried SP flash tool using MTK bypass tool... stuck at 100% DA then shows error.

thx for efforts. I already did the exact thing you did, but it didn't work for me. stuck 100% DA and no actual download happens
